Berks Sinfonietta Soars with “Music on the Mountain” at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary

This open-air concert promises a captivating afternoon of orchestral music amidst the breathtaking natural beauty of Hawk Mountain. Dr. David McConnell leads the Berks Sinfonietta in a program that traverses the landscapes of sound, from the evocative seascapes of Grace Williams’ “Sea Sketches” to the idyllic English countryside of Frederick Delius’ “On Hearing the First Cuckoo in Spring” and “Summer Night on the River.” The concert culminates with the majesty of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Symphony No. 41 in C major, “Jupiter.”
